Grilled Portobello Mushrooms Recipe

  1. Remove the stems from the portobello mushrooms and clean the caps by gently wiping them with a damp paper towel. Set the mushrooms aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Pour the marinade into a shallow dish or large resealable plastic bag. Add the portobello mushrooms and turn to coat them with the marinade. Let the mushrooms marinate for 15-30 minutes, turning occasionally.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the mushrooms from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Reserve the remaining marinade for basting.
  4. Grill the portobello mushrooms for 5-7 minutes per side, basting occasionally with the reserved marinade, until they are tender and nicely browned.
  5. Remove the mushrooms from the grill and serve immediately.
