Lemon Butter Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Once the butter has melted, add the fresh lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
- Cook the sauce for about 1 minute, stirring occasionally, until it is fully combined and slightly thickened.
- Remove the saucepan from heat. If desired, stir in the chopped fresh parsley.
- Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over grilled or baked fish, chicken, or vegetables. Serve immediately.
